Spaces formerly used as the hamlet’s cellar and pantry now house a special place, made of stone vaults and large windows where Sannio’s gastronomic wealth is celebrated evening after evening. Within the kitchen of La Locanda del Borgo, Executive Chef Luciano Villani interprets the same philosophy that permeates every corner of Aquapetra: harmony, balance and creativity.

and local recipes brimming with history.

A gastronomic journey that celebrates local excellence: Laticauda lamb which is low in cholesterol, Caciocavallo cheese from Castelfranco in Miscano, Matese potatoes, Bonea onions, Regina beans grown in San Lupo. Most of the products come from small, passionate local suppliers. Oil, preserves and bread are made on site.
